BASK
Bask are a sculpture collective made up of Angus Ogilvie, Dominic McHenry and Jim Shepherd. Individually they each have their own practice and come together as Bask for larger more formidable work.
India first met Bask in 2016 when they applied to do a residency at The Defenceless Container. This was a WWII bunker on the coast of the Isle of Wight. The installation was open to the public to help raise awareness of over fishing of the seas. Bask created ‘Saltscape’ which was an immersive site-specific installation with five wooden sculptures emerging from nine tonnes of rock salt.
